Garlic Honey
Saw on 1870’s Homestead’s channel and Pro Home Cooks so decided to try. Super simple and pretty good.
Ingredients
- Unfiltered Honey (local is best)
- Garlic
Equipment
- Mason Jar (wide mouth preferred, size to wants)
- Lid
Directions
- Clean Jar with a mild detergent and dry
- Peel garlic (try the Pro home cooks metal bowl trick)
- Place in jar
- Pour Honey leaving some head room in the jar
- Place in an area that does not get natural sunlight
- Let sit for a few days flipping the jar over once or twice a day so the garlic stays coated in honey
- When you start to see bubbles and the honey becomes more watery stain the garlic out to be used elsewere
- Garlic honey is now ready
